Drone Spraying & Aerial Application
Programmed flight lines, calibrated droplet size and variable-rate application. Sprays reach the canopy evenly, cover ground faster than a knapsack, and keep operators out of contact with chemicals.
VidYash AgriTech builds and operates precision agriculture systems for Indian farms — drones, satellites, field sensors and AI working together so every input is placed where the crop actually needs it.
Each capability stands on its own — and each one gets sharper when it shares data with the others.
Programmed flight lines, calibrated droplet size and variable-rate application. Sprays reach the canopy evenly, cover ground faster than a knapsack, and keep operators out of contact with chemicals.
Multispectral imagery from drones and satellites, resolved to the individual plot. Vegetation indices show where the crop is thriving and where it is quietly under stress — weeks before it is visible on foot.
Models trained on field imagery track growth stage, flag disease and pest pressure early, estimate biomass and forecast yield — turning pictures of a farm into decisions a farm can act on.
Pump controllers, soil-moisture probes and valve automation on a single network. Farmers start, stop and schedule irrigation from a phone — no midnight trips to the pump house, no water run needlessly.
Fixed field cameras keep a continuous visual record of the crop — canopy development, flowering, pest arrival — so growth is documented day by day instead of remembered after the season.
Hyperlocal rainfall, temperature, humidity, wind and solar readings from the farm itself. Spray windows, irrigation timing and frost or heat-stress warnings come from that farm's weather, not a district average.
Precision agriculture only pays when the loop closes. We design for the full loop — measurement through to the machine that does the work in the field.
Drone and satellite imagery, field cameras, soil-moisture probes and on-farm weather stations gather continuous, geo-referenced data across the season — from sowing through harvest.
AI and remote-sensing models convert that raw data into crop health maps, growth-stage tracking, stress and disease alerts, water requirement estimates and yield forecasts.
Insight drives action: prescription maps flown by spraying drones, irrigation pumps switched remotely, and advisories delivered to the farmer in time to change the outcome.
Sustainable agriculture is not a trade-off against productivity. Placed accurately, less does more.
VidYash AgriTech India Private Limited is an agricultural technology company registered in Pune, Maharashtra, and part of the Global VidYash Group. We apply remote sensing, drones, IoT, satellite data and artificial intelligence to the practical problems of a working farm.
Indian agriculture is not short of effort — it is short of visibility. Farmers make decisions on fragmented information: a district weather forecast for a farm with its own microclimate, a walk through the field standing in for a survey of every acre, an irrigation schedule set by routine rather than by what the soil holds. Each of those gaps costs yield, water and money.
Our work is to close them. We deploy sensing systems that measure what is actually happening on that specific land, models that make the measurements meaningful, and machines — spraying drones, automated pumps — that act on the result. Around that technology we build durable agricultural businesses: service operations, farm-level deployments and partnerships that put precision agriculture within reach of growers who could not otherwise access it.
The company is young and deliberately hands-on. We would rather prove a system over a season on real acres than describe it in a brochure.
Rahul founded VidYash AgriTech in July 2024 to bring aerospace-grade sensing and automation into everyday Indian farming. His conviction is a simple one: the technologies that let an aircraft or a factory run on measurement — imaging, telemetry, control loops, machine learning — are ready for the field, and the farm is where they can do the most good.
He leads the company's technology direction across drones, remote sensing and IoT, and its work building agricultural businesses around those systems. He serves alongside co-director Vidya Shantaram Shinde, and works closely with the wider Global VidYash Group across its financial services, aerospace and energy ventures.
He is based in Pune, Maharashtra.
